Hughes Net CEO, Pradman P. Kaul allows customers to suffer...

(Hughes Net. CEO, Pradman Kaul, pictured in this photo for "Spacenews." Kaul is the leader of the satellite internet provider Hughes Net, which seems to "space out" when it comes to providing actual service for the money. But he's one of many "fat" and happy CEO's whose financial success does not rely on customer satisfaction. And the FCC has little or no interest in raising any alarms as to the potentially criminal business practices artfully done at Hughes net.  http://www.spacenews.com/satellite_telecom/111117-hughesnet-wildblue-subscriber.html.)

Hughes net, a leader in corporate tyranny is being run by a man named, Pradman Kaul. It appears Mr. Kaul has some serious problems with creating a fair playing field for his customers.

I'm sure his background is in "how much money can I get" business practices as if this the only mark of success.

Success was once considered by how many customers a company could keep, not how many they could scam.

But the illustrious Mr. Kaul, who seems to get awards from different organizations, must not have these people doling out the praise, on his list of customers.

Why?

Because this is the most terrible company since Microsoft. They are in it to win it and the prize is every dime they can pickpocket from their customers.

Watch President Obama will hold him up as an example of good business practices. We know that Obama likes anyone who will shift some dough or false praise his way.

What are wrong with these people that money obviously doesn't buy?

They can't be happy to rip off people everyday can they?

It appears so my friends. If you have trouble it is not because of the person you have from customer support or tech support, it is these fish slurping up the worms at the top of the corporate food chain.

I personally would like to offer Mr. Kaul and associates, all the money left in my pocket at this time. It appears they need it more than I, because I am NOT out ripping people off or vying constantly for an extra buck. LOL

The FCC lead by this man, with the uncomfortable smile, Julius Genachowski, does nothing to stop these practices. His leadership brings a bad name to leadership, but then we US citizens are used to being duped by the political types.

This situation is no different, I'm afraid.

Lay on the complaints but don't waste too much time as you have "Hughes Net" internet service and it will take forever with their downloading speeds....LOL

Recall California Jerry Brown: C'mon it's time...

(Jerry "Edmond" Brown Jr. shown above. Brown's age is really starting to appear, as the 70 something governor who used the Kern Valley Healthcare District elder abuse case to springboard into the Sacramento mansion, is looking quite elderly these days. So, yes, let's abuse him and then send him packing for home.)

The state of California hurts. It is being run into the ground by those who thought at one point they could have a "California dream."

The Governor, Jerry Brown, is very much into bringing on the pain for the most vulnerable of citizens. We can't believe what he tells us as he has his own agenda for California.

This agenda includes hurting the people who already hurt.

The disabled have come out and protested. The people labeled mentally ill were next on his list. Then he continued down the line to care providers.

The care providers who are paid a nominal sum for taking care of elderly people in their homes, now must face not even making that money.

Brown says if the state constituents do not vote in a new tax measure on themselves, he will be cutting vital services to such things as elder care and down the line to education.

The fees for colleges are outrageous. They are causing major needs for student loans. These student loans keep escalating making education a risky business. But again, there isn't much choice other than to take out the loan.

Brown is killing the spirit of the state. He has none of his "new" ideas this time around as Governor. There was a time this man was willing to throw out the whole "income tax system" now he's ready to turn on his allies the people who voted him in.

Now voters it's time to turn on him.

Recall Jerry Brown...coming to a petition near you...

Written March 2011

I'm always sad to deliver bad news, but it's true this country, America, is not so beautiful anymore is it? It's not only not beautiful it's lost it's heart and soul and has taken over the world basically.

Oh you didn't realize it?

Some people in power want more power and want resources, low wage workers, (slaves if they could) interfering with the actions of other countries, it's a nut house.

Gosh, right now we are fighting for rebels in Lybia because they are for...? We don't know who or what they are. We are fighting against something not for something. I've fought for a lot of things in my life, and mostly because most other people are cowards who won't fight for anything or against anything, and that generally leaves me sticking out in a crowd. I had wanted to make a difference while I was here, as we all get our chance, whether or not it is what you might think. Sometimes a difference is a facial expression, a smile. It could be soothing others in a serious situation. It could be having to hurt or kill others because they are hurting and killing and won't stop.

Do you realize how long it took for us to get into WWII when FDR had to go all around the congress and the populace who had fought hard in the first world war to get us over there, to the European front where people, jews mostly, but others as well, were eliminated with no compunction. Tortured and turned out of their homes and businesses, everything stolen, including their dignity. And you think it can't happen again.

As I am going to be doing is talking about the "American Revolution" which is on the menu, under "bologna sandwich." We have taken all the bullshit we can take here in America where politicians swear they are here for all of us, then take a walk once their limo pulls up.

The last straw for me was the invasion of Iraq after 9/11. I don't know about you, but I never thought much of the Iraqi's ability to put up a fight after they scrambled out of Kuwait the minute our desert attired soldiers showed up.

Now, George W. has excuses and a book. Fuck him. I don't have to respect him, I didn't vote for him. And even his father was a failure at making this country tick.

He was simply another tick. Feeding his family from Saudi Arabia and making it ridiculous here at home as he was playing both sides..

When the roads full of Kurdish refugees, women and children, were bombed and these people massacred, George Senior walked away with an excuse. It was too much to side with the Kurds as we still needed the Syrians who share the border.

What a sickness we have become on the world. We are deluded if we think we can continue to do this and not have repercussions such as what will happen with Lybia being taken over by rebels with no "political platform."

Our government is doing what we have to do with our limping democracy: vote for the lesser of the two evils, democrat or republican. There should be a major change in this country but we have no heroes, no great minds who have spoken up and said, "it's time for a big change."

We need to change our attitude that our "democrashy" is working. It isn't.

We need to share with the rest of the world, show some kindness, and less bombs.

We need people in government who are actually concerned and qualified, but we haven't made that distinction: what does it mean to be qualified? An age? How ridiculous. Education, history, philosophy, technology and a vision for a future that is realistic and broad as it is a world economy.

No more invasions. We use negotiations.

And yes, that frightening group known as the United Nations, is fast becoming a corrupted organization which will again need a remake.

No more bucking the system for any country, there should be conscious effort to meet the needs of all nations with the "competitive" nonsense omitted. Competition is good for an economy. Ask At&t and Directv, they did really well as all their brethren fell to the wayside leaving a monopoly.

We didn't and couldn't control that marvel called Microsoft either. And certainly the bail outs were so offensive to everyone, I think we can officially claim there will be an inner war here in America.

When a country and it's leaders push down the people already down, you're guaranteed an uprising.

Surprise America isn't so cool is it? Let's just hope we don't see any states making a break, hell I would tell them to if they felt the federal government is not doing it's job. It's certainly far behind the times and has basically ruined and stolen and forced Americans to become active.

I see no evil in people trying to survive, so if white collar crime can go unchecked, why not more gangs and more violence, and drugs too?

We are just over 200 years old and we are almost obsolete. We are not the powerhouse of the world with democracy the savior.

The best quote of the new century came from someone who knows, and who is stuck in the system in many ways. Madoff was quoted to have said, "American Government is just another Ponzi scheme."

Indeed.

Multi-level marketing only works at the top of the pyramid. You wouldn't buy into Amway would you? They have already too many sucklings and you would be feeding the top.

No, there's got to be good, intelligent people with vision who we can entice to come forward and help create a better future for our children. Yes, they are the lucky ones who get to inherit this mess. In God we trust, but we can't trust America, unless you're a witless boob. And so it goes...

American Reform or Revolution: Leaving the scraps for the next generation

Written March 2011

Nobody wants to talk about it, but America is not number #1 in anything anymore.

American's don't like bad news and they haven't gotten up off their duffs in a while to go outside and take a real look around.

Crime on the rise, or is it that we can't see the crimes because they are inside the government, swelling with blood like ticks.

White collar crime is a boon in this country and they get away with it in small places such at the Kern River Valley, a beautiful place that could be a nice place to live: but it has become factionalized. The factions we see out there marching, the unions, they want to keep that protection, the pensions, the power of a government job.

And the government caught dumping money in the river or as they call it, "the bailouts" was the final straw and now the earth is moving, stocks are slipping, but hope of fairness, justice, and equality are out the door.

Welcome to dog eat dog time I must say I had quite a go round with a hospital district that has wasted more money than most people will make in their whole lives. And I've seen the damage done to people.

Friendly fire or collateral damage some might call it. Others take it more personally. Those that take it personally or have been hurt in the fight for intelligence, and compassion, are going to be those who are out there doing what has to be done in the name of what is good and right in this world.

Surprisingly sometimes it has to come to WAR and that war is not always away from your home or your apartment.

It's right on top of you. You have no choice but to fight or to have your ability to ever fight taken from you.

Disarming the American Mind

Education has taken such a dive in the last decade, it's all about diplomas and vocation, and less about humanity.

Is this a civilization is this really what being civil is all about?

You know the government lies to you, but the government has to lie in many cases because of real issues such as MASS PANIC, and REBELLION and when the situation gets hot enough it will begin to happen. It already has happened, we have seen the government putting it's big clumsy foot down on workers in Wisconsin.

I thought it, they probably did too I had the notion that if you stick to the side of truth and use intelligence and compassion you can't lose. I'm sure that the people who walked the streets of LA believe that they are making a difference.

Not yet.

Unfortunately, our country is running about with SMART bombs and dumb people because of the priorities we have established. We help other rebels, we even helped Osama Bin Laden when he was of use to the US Government during the "cold war" which ate up all the riches of Russia and created a huge storehouse of military gear and gadgets over here in America.

The US and it's friends from Europe have done some ugly things in the course of pretending to do what is right.

Currently we are short of knowledge and short on vision of the future. Where are the GREAT MINDS are there any left in America?

And are we going to dumb down our population and make them into homeless do-nothing's who are not serving the overall good of the world's population. I'd like to see one of the great minds stand up and begin the dialogue, but we have to wait as there will be a revolution in this country.

It won't be like the 60's though. It won't be made of rock and roll, it will be made of suffering like we have not seen or experienced.

The government offices and agencies where people are overworked, and under achievers, will be surrounded by razor wire as offices that used to house people who were trying desperately to work, are now picketing, throwing rocks, or...rockets.

Guns will be the big disaster in the world as people will fear their neighbors and not be communities. Dumb asses are running this country and the one's who want to help, who have the heart and the vision, don't show up for the flag waving parties.

We had hope President Obama...We believed you Governor Jerry Brown.

Now we hear it again, the condescension that the government can SOLVE our problems: the government has created our problems.

We let George Bush push us up against a wall of weapons of mass destruction, which were right here in America, not in Iraq.

Jerry Brown is probably the most correct that there will be anarchy, and maybe we all should go out and purchase those guns and ammo. We have something to fight for.

Here's the problem, America is so factionalized, so many groups insisting they are "righter" or "better" than the rest.

When you start hearing bullets whizzing by you, you'll get the message: and maybe the government will hear it too. We've already seen it starting the shooting of politicians: open season? Thin the heard? Imprisoning people is a costly business, but people have to eat and stay warm. What will America do and who will lead the way and most importantly...exactly where are we going?

(Example of a laughable but ugly situation: the Kern Valley Healthcare District. Jerry Brown couldn't do anything about it, the community doesn't know it's been duped into paying more taxes and is going to be asked to pay even more. And nobody could do anything...it's just a small community and Brown is now running the state? And Jean Fuller is a Senator? And Sharon Grove moved from business into politics, who is she and does she know about any of the huge failures here? See: KVHD under FIRE)

I want to talk about our self image...

The biggest problem in America

What happens to be the biggest problem in our country today? I would say that it is our self image, we are poor, we have soldiers being killed, we have a President who needs to step the hell up, and we have not taken our power back.

Burning down neighborhoods does not seem like the answer. I know there is pain, in every person, from everywhere. But we don't need to create more of it. We need to take it to the top where the real trouble is brewing.

This will be short, more of an update, but I happen to catch a glance at our local newspaper, The Bakersfield Californian, and it reminded me of days gone by: the North Koreans still wear those communist uniforms. These people believe the only way to live is to create a massive army, nuclear bombs, and if there is any affront by nations, even the once strong America, they will use these weapons.

The picture on the front page was ominous, and the new premier of the country is the son of the late one. Hmm, what will we have? Did this son rebel against his father or is he due to rebel against his father? Or was he groomed to take up where Daddy left off?

I guess we will find out. That is the biggest challenge in the world, assuaging North Korea. Oh boy what an effort. We don't want them to feel bad, we need them to feel comfortably "bad ass" so they don't need to torch us with their standing army and all their angry toys.

Former Kern Valley Healthcare District CEO, Pam Ott, asking for a dismissal

Elder abuse has no excuses or exceptions

May 17, 2011

Bakersfield, CA

It will be a very interesting day at the Kern County Superior Court as a former CEO, Pamela Ott, charged with eight counts of elder abuse surrounding her employment with the Kern Valley Healthcare District in Lake Isabella, CA, in 2006-7, has filed a motion PC 995 to have all charges dismissed.

The case that captured the attention of now Governor Jerry Brown, surrounding the complaints of chemically restraining elderly patients in the Kern Valley hospitals' distinctive nursing center may have lead to their early demise.

Ott, who has plead "not guilty" along with co-defendants, Dr. Hoshang Pormir, and Director of Nursing, Gwenneth Hughes, is the only defendant taking this course of action as her attorney, Jim Faulkner will try to prove that the pretrial somehow her rights were violated during the course of charging her in court or that there was no probable cause.

Dr. Pormir, who had two attorneys working on his behalf, Donald Etra and William Howard Ginsburg, both political figures as Ginsburg was the attorney for Monica Lewinsky in one of our country's worst political brawls, that of the President Bill Clinton.

Etra, is known for his high profile Hollywood type cases, and was a guest of President Bush at the White House.

Under all these heavyweight names you will find a small hospital, with names you don't know, but people such as Phyllis Peters, whose mother died in the hospital's skilled nursing facility.

"I want to go to court and look them in the eyes, that is all I want," the elderly woman said in a recent interview.

Peters is waiting to see if the criminal trial will move forward as there will also be civil cases that follow, but she said she wants "justice."

There has been speculation that the board of directors and other administrators may also be liable as Ott was a CEO, but her credentials are what is in question. On the blog, KVHD under Fire, Ott's whole resume is shown, however, other clouds trail the white collar defendant.

She was alleged to have moved on to Sierra Kings District Hospital in Reedley California, which bankrupted one month after she was charged with eight counts of elder abuse, and records were to have shown Ott was moving money from protected property tax dollars, GOB, and employee pension funds.

Some Reedley employees will never see their pensions due to conflicts with the bankruptcy, Ott has yet to be charged in that case.

It's a political battle on the inside of the hospital as board meetings have become more contentious as big money was spent to hire a new CEO, the third since Ott left in May of 2007. The hospital, struggling financially, could be pushed into bankruptcy if the trial goes and the state prevails that no matter who you are, there are no excuses for elder abuse.

The CEO, may use her position as undereducated to her advantage today in court, as her credentials come from an Internet college once called Kennedy/Western University.

But the question remains to be seen if a CEO who shares a workspace and work place, could miss such things as a particularly violent act against an elderly woman given an antipsychotic called Risperdal against her will.

Records show that several nurses had to hold her down, and those nurses, as well as other administrators, or board members, have not been charged.

The selectivity of the defendants in the case makes it unusual as this could be the benchmark case, where it reaches those who should have done their jobs, but also, reported the crimes as well. It may well send a message to those who don't report crimes that they will be held responsible too.

Does that include the board of directors? The state and county could argue they had no medical training therefore no ability to know. What if they were told though? Could they then become liable?

This case may open up doors for more laws regarding vigilance and responsibility concerning care of the elderly if it goes to trial and wins. But it could leave scars in the small valley if the Governor and now Attorney General Kamala Harris, cannot finish what they started.

The hospital stands to lose millions of dollars it cannot afford in legal expenses should these cases become successful, which could cause the eventual bankruptcy of the district and possible repossession by a state office which insures the hospital's 20 million dollar debt, Cal Mtg.

It could also lead to more charges with Ott regarding her tenure with Sierra Kings District Hospital in Reedley.

"It's definitely not over, people are fighting for their jobs, money, it's ugly," said one hospital employee who chose not to be quoted.

The case is scheduled for trial in September, but the Ott camp is going for a full dismissal. More on this motion later today.

California government short staffed and on the brink of financial failure

I am starting to believe as I hear more and more about the budget problems here in California, that we are fooling ourselves into believing we have researched a way to properly fuel up the west coast economy.

With the budget impasse, the late payments, the lack of leadership, and an election year which is bringing out some old timers such as Jerry Brown, current Attorney General, who according to many media resources, claims to have answers to our problems.

Do we want to maybe try something new as AG Brown has not impressed many around the state in his current position, many are disappointed with his record in comparison to that of former AG, Bill Lockyer?

Tough on doctors who over prescribe medications to such people as Anna Nicole Smith and even a foray into Michael Jackson's overdose.

He has taken on big mortgage fraud cases, but in the end, he shrank away from investigating his own...

It's called Cal Mtg. out of the office of Statewide Healthcare Planning and Development, and they are an insurer and creditor for small hospitals and medical clinics around the state.

Cal Mtg. was created to help hospitals who have no credit to obtain monies for expansion projects and to try and guarantee healthcare services to small communities.

But in it's mission statement it's first priority is to "protect the fund." They MAKE money from these loans they issue, but once involved with Cal Mtg. these hospitals and healthcare districts are now without options if they cannot pay.

The second part of my thoughts today about the state, is the fact that Cal Mtg. is basically untouchable.

How could this be? I asked the DOJ if they, who are attacking "Fannie Mae" and "Freddie Mac" in a potential lawsuit if they would be able to investigate the "government bond" sales at a small hospital in the Kern River Valley which has left them flat broke.

No response of course as they are two offices with a savings account and with the stormy weather blowing money away faster than a child actor, they are keeping their monies safe.

This same request was made to the Governors office, as well as a request for help from Schwarzenegger's wife, Maria Shriver's website.

I must say Shriver's people were fully sympathetic with the situation in the valley surrounding Lake Isabella, but the last and final letter told the tale: "Good luck."

With this sort of lack of focus and ability to act quickly and effectively to problems as they arise, there is little hope that the government is going to be able to recover any time soon.

What is happening on the inside?

I know many people working in government jobs who are about at the end of their ropes.

Short staffing, meaning not allowing an adequate amount of employees needed to accomplish their jobs in a proper, legal, manner, is now a grave issue on the inside.

It's funny how they cut jobs from the bottom up. Do you think they could save more money and retain more employees by edging out middle managers and finding ways to both adequately accomplish their respective tasks while maintaining the most important people: the one's at the bottom.

When you call a government office about any issue, do you speak with the President, the Governor, Senators, or is it "Jane Doe" on the phone with you?

As is a pattern in corporate America, the small guy goes first. That's bad business anyway you look at it.

One last thought for the day regarding the marijuana issue being "considered" this year.

There is another cigarette tax on it's way to help create a black market as people will and always do find a way around these ridiculous taxes. Beat up some smokers and throw a tax at them; pretend there are savings in medical care; and go home and sleep at night.

Marijuana has a problem, it works medically for many people. That is a problem for the pharmaceutical industry, "Pharmerica," as it is safer, with less side effects, and has many uses, thus threatening their prescriptionopoloy.

We could be bringing in big tax dollars with "medical marijuana" but that is being fought. Why? For no other reason than it could effect the bottom line for many medications currently on the market.

Legalizing it is not the best way and it will NEVER pass.

Allowing a market for marijuana appropriately monitored for medical patients would bring in tax dollars and truly "cut costs on medical care." That's a problem?

Wake up California, I have many things to show you over the next two months as we move toward the November 2, election...your votes will make a difference so it's time to begin thinking before we cast our powerful opinions...
